here is a slide template if you want to start a new paper and discuss with me. (do not feel stressed, i don't expect you to give me perfect ones. It is just a thinking routine ensuring our discussion as effective as possible, you might need at least one month to prepare for these slides before they are sent to my inbox)
- You drafted title (exiting and attractive)
- What is your target problem/objective?
- list as many challenges towards your objective as possible, then we discuss how to select some of them to construct our paper. when you list these challenges, you do not need to read so many related works, just think of these challenges with your empty brain :) because once you did a lot of surveys from existing work, your mind will be heavily limited by these jobs. I need you to think about these potential challenges from a non-expert perspectives and organize our story from non-specialists view.
- think about how to solve the above challenges (each by each)
- some initial or potential technical contributions
- what is the most highlighted thing you want to sell? (core novelty)
- existing works, tools, resources, datasets etc that can support us to go through
